What grows when the conditions are no longer gentle?
MONSTERS IN BLOOM draws on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of the Shadow — the parts of ourselves we reject, suppress, or project onto others — to explore transformation under pressure. Bodies, identities, materials, environments, technologies, memories, and relationships that shift, mutate, or resist fixed forms.
The monster is the shadow given shape: the hybrid, the wounded, the excessive, the misunderstood. Bloom is what happens when the shadow is made conscious — emergence, survival, and unexpected growth.
In a world shaped by instability, acceleration, and synthetic realities, MONSTERS IN BLOOM asks: what becomes possible when we stop fearing what lives in the dark?
